Biography
Maarten Thompson is Senior Vice President, General Counsel/Corporate Secretary for Wolters Kluwer. In that capacity Mr. Thompson holds responsibility for Legal Affairs and acts as Corporate Secretary for both the Executive Board and Supervisory Board. His responsibilities also include compliance and corporate governance. In addition to that, he is leading the sustainability program at Wolters Kluwer. Mr. Thompson has been with Wolters Kluwer's legal department since 1999. He joined as Senior Legal Counsel and became Vice President, Legal Affairs in 2000. Since 2003, he has been Vice President, General Counsel/Company Secretary for Wolters Kluwer and was promoted to Senior Vice President, General Counsel/Company Secretary in 2012.
