Biography
Robert Ingato joined Wolters Kluwer in April 2017 as Executive Vice President, General Counsel. In that capacity he is responsible for leading the company’s legal department. Before joining Wolters Kluwer, Robert served as General Counsel and Secretary of CIT Group Inc., a publicly-owned bank holding company, where he was responsible for the legal, insurance, real estate, communications, government relations and marketing organizations. Prior to that, Robert held executive positions with Newcourt Credit and AT&T, including as General Counsel of AT&T Capital Corporation. He began his career in private practice with the Gibbons law firm.
