Biography
I have a Master of Library & Information Studies, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English literature and a Certificate in Designing and Facilitating E-learning. I've worked in libraries since 1987 (including over 10 years in the Parliamentary Library), as a lecturer since 2000, and as a consultant in records management (part-time) since 2002. I am an Associate Editor of Library Review, and Associate Editor (Australasia/S.-E. Asia) of Information Research.
Research Interest
I am currently enrolled in PhD studies at Monash University, and will investigate mental models of the bibliographic universe in the context of FRBR and improvement of access to information. Other research interests include continuing professional development, classification and folksonomies, graduate outcomes and information management.
