Biography
Having trained as an oncologist, Mary brings a physician’s perspective to the mix at Arcus—a critical factor in our effective communications to HCPs. A distinct complement to her experience treating patients with cancer, her background as an immunologist gives Mary deep insight into the complex biology behind the targeted oncology products of today. Before joining Arcus, Mary worked as Medical Director at Genentech, Cephalon, and GSK, leading the development of oncology products such as Rituxan, Treanda, and other pre-launch agents. Mary’s residency was at the Children’s Hospital, Harvard University, which led to a fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She holds a PhD in immunology from NYU, and an undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University.
