Katy Street

Biography

Since graduating from the University of Otago Katy has worked in both the UK and New Zealand in a variety of hospital and private clinical settings.  This grounding has enabled her to gain valuable experience to treat a wide range of conditions.  Katy is passionate about Physiotherapy and continues to study to keep up to date with the latest treatment options for her clients.  When she is not at Auckland Physiotherapy she works in a specialist role within the Orthopaedic spinal team at Middlemore hospital. Katy's interests in the diagnosis and treatment of back pain have led her to continue post graduate study.  This year she plans to complete a Master's thesis investigating spinal pathologies diagnosed on MRI.  She hopes to continue research in this field with the goal of working towards a PhD.
