Dr Ben Albert

Biography

Ben graduated in medicine from The University of Auckland School of Medicine in 2003 and began clinical work in Rotorua and later Whangarei before returning to Auckland. He has qualified as a Paediatrician and is in the process of specializing in Paediatric Endocrinology. Research Interest

PhD research project investigating the pathogenesis of insulin resistance and the metabolic syndrome, and the role of dietary functional lipids in the prevention and treatment of these conditions.
