Biography
Harold Wereta has strong tribal connections to Te Roroa, Ngati Whatua, Ngapuhi and Te Rarawa iwi. He brings 15 years’ experience working in Maori health management with the last 10 years spent in Nelson Marlborough as a general manager. He has good working knowledge of Iwi/ Maori communities, has worked in the Treaty Sector and brings with him a business studies post graduate degree. In his spare time Harold enjoys time with his whanau, reading books, watching movies and paddling on his Ocean 1 outrigger canoe.
