Biography
Jenny Walker worked for a year in Northland as a House Officer before completing her specialist training in Auckland and Baltimore. She returned with her family in 1997 as the first Renal Physician for Northland, and oversaw a huge growth in the Service. She was Clinical Head of the Renal Unit until 2016 and has been involved in National Renal Committees. She was appointed as Clinical Services CD in 2014 and then Associate Chief Medical Officer in 2015. In that capacity Jenny Chairs the Reportable Events Committee and the Capital Expenditure Committee, as well as a variety of project work.
