Biography
Alison completed both her BSc & MSc in the UK, and worked as an Exercise Physiologist for BUPA before moving to New Zealand. Alison settled in the Bay of Plenty where she was employed as a lecturer at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic, before deciding to complete her PhD investigating "The Health Benefits of Aqua-Based Exercise for Older Adults with Osteoarthritis". On completion of her PhD, Alison took a lecturing post with Tottenham Hotspur Football club in the UK, where she was also involved in setting up community exercise and health education programmes. After two years working in London, Alison was missing the Kiwi lifestyle and moved back to the Bay & joined the Body In Motion team in 2017.
