Biography
Niels van Linden is PhD researcher on the N2kWh-project, developing a new strategy to manage ammonium in residual streams by producing ammonia/ammonium fuel for a SOFC (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell), in order to generate electricity: from pollutant to power. Niels has a Civil Engineering background, with an explicit interest in water treatment. In 2013, he completed his BSc in Civil Engineering at the Delft University of Technology after conducting his BSc-thesis on a water softening project in Portugal. This first practical experience made him very enthusiastic on the field of water treatment and made him pursue his MSc in Sanitary Engineering, the specialisation of the Watermanagement track in the MSc Civil Engineering
