Biography
Alexa teaches in the final semester of Year 3 of the Bachelor of Nursing Degree Programme.She originally graduated with a Diploma of Nursing and worked at Middlemore Hospital & Greenlane Hospital in Auckland as a Registered Nurse before becoming the Clinical Nurse Advisor for Orthopaedics at the HBDHB. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing at EIT and went on to complete her Master of Education through Massey University to support her move to EIT and the education sector.
Research Interest
Alexa’s research interests currently include the renegotiation of identity following acquired brain injury, and exploring the blended online Bachelor of Nursing curriculum from the faculty perspective.
