Biography
Dr. Ghosh is a Chemical Engineer from IIT Delhi with a Ph.D. in Economics and Policy Analysis from the Carnegie-Mellon University. He was a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from 7/1969 to 5/2007. He is a former Secretary, Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt. of India from September 2003 to May 2007. Dr. Ghosh specializes at the interface of science, economics, and public policy. He is a Distinguished Fellow in TERI working on Climate change and sustainable development policy. He is also Chairperson of the FICCI Climate Change Task Force.
