Biography
He was Chief Executive of Chorus since 2008 when it was part of Telecom. Earlier roles at Telecom including Chief Operating Officer, Technology & Enterprises at Telecom and Chief Information Officer. Prior to telecommunication, Mark worked in senior accounting, IT, project management and consulting roles in England and New Zealand. As well as being an accomplished manager of large multi-disciplinary teams, he has extensive experience with the regulatory system and is well connected with both regulators and the policy makers that determine regulatory policy. Mark currently serves on the boards of NZ Initiative and NZ Telecommunication Carriers Forum.Mark holds a Bachelor of Accounting, Huddersfield University, England (1981). He is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.
