Biography
Dr Afshin (Ash) Nazmi is a Medical Practitioner and Advanced Registrar in Occupational and Environmental Medicine with Fit for Work 2016 Ltd. He moved from the UK to New Zealand in 2008. He has past experience of hospital based training in various acute and non-acute medical specialty fields, as well as two years’ recent experience as a Medical Advisor for ACC. Afshin is passionate about improving patients’ outcome and quality of life through application of his broad base of medical experience in occupational medicine, understanding the relationship between worker’s health status and work ability and vocational rehabilitation. He believes in a multidisciplinary team and biopsychosocial approach in assessment, and provision of best treatment and rehabilitation advice.
