Biography
Liz hails from Scotland and is well known in the area, in part due to her work in the past with the Tasman Makos. Currently she has an exciting, busy life in the Motueka area being involved with the local Kahurangi Rugby Team, a volunteer firefighter with the Kaiteriteri Fire Brigade and also in the Rural Fire Incident Team with her husband Robin. As well as a keen interest in Sports Physiotherapy, Liz has post-graduate qualifications in the application of Kinesiotape, and manipulation, and is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner: another method of treating joint problems. She, too, enjoys the rehabilitation aspect of her practice, not only with sports but in all aspects of care from children to the retired, pain management education and occupational health.
