Sara Martell

Biography

Sara recently joined our team as a Nelson based physiotherapist. She is originally from the UK where she worked in the National Health Service for 3 years to gain good skills and knowledge in a wide range of areas such as orthopaedics and neurology. She moved to Nelson 3 years ago and it is here that she found her passion for musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Since working in Nelson she has been the team physio for the Suburbs Mainland Soccer team carrying out pitch side assessments, treatment and management techniques, as well as assisting with some of the local rugby teams. Her main areas of interest are sports injuries, exercise rehabilitation, dry needling and post-operative rehabilitation
