Biography
Charles was appointed General Counsel and Company Secretary in October 2013, having joined Fletcher Building as Corporate Legal Counsel in 2002. Prior to joining Fletcher Building he spent eight years at the New Zealand law firm Bell Gully where he had a broad commercial law practice in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and managed funds. Before that, Charles spent three years working as a lawyer at the New Zealand Stock Exchange.Charles holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Victoria University of Wellington.
