Francisco Irazusta

Biography

 Francisco joined Fletcher Building in March 2015 as the Chief Executive of the Light Building Products Division and became Chief Executive of the International Division in March 2016. He was appointed Interim CEO in July 2017. Francisco has an impressive background, bringing broad experience across manufacturing, supply chain, sales and marketing, gained from a range of senior leadership roles for global building products companies in North America, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Europe. His extensive international experience includes mergers and acquisitions with full integration planning, human resources, finance and administration, information technology, safety, health and environment, research and development, change management and cultural integration. He has worked in multiple industries in a range of business structures, from family owned businesses to large stock-listed multinational corporations. Driven by a strong focus on strategy and performance, Francisco values innovation, safety and sustainability. He leads with the understanding that people are the enablers of superior returns. Prior to joining Fletcher Building, Francisco steered CRH plc's European Building Products business division through challenging conditions, driving performance improvements throughout his tenure. Francisco holds a Master of Science, Industrial Engineering and Innovation and a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering, both from the State University of New York (USA). He is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Basque.
