Biography
Belinda completed three years of a Bachelor of Medicine degree in Cape Town, South Africa in 1992, before immigrating to New Zealand, where she qualified as an Occupational Therapist at AUT in 1996. 2009 was a busy year for Belinda as she completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Health Science and following this achieved her Registered Hand Therapist status. She then spent five years working in spinal rehabilitation, with a special interest in the management of the tetraplegic hand, before joining Handworks in 2011. Family, handcrafts, body boarding and walking her dog take up most of Belinda’s spare time.
