Biography
Laura graduated as a Physiotherapist from AUT in 2010. From there she and her husband jumped on a plane and headed for the sunny beaches of Manly, Sydney. Laura was always interested in Hands after sustaining numerous netball injuries. Whilst working at Macquarie University Private Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital, in predominantly Intensive Care Unit and Acute Neurological roles, Laura completed her Hand and Upper Limb training via correspondence. On returning to NZ she started working at Handworks and has since finished her Post Graduate Certificate and become a Registered Hand Therapist. Laura currently works part-time whilst looking after her two girls. She particularly enjoys playing netball, keeping active and spending time with friends and family.
