Craig Soutar

Biography

Craig was appointed in April 2017 to lead the Decision and Systems Support function at HealthCare NZ. He has over 30 years experience in Information Technology strategy development, service design and operations. Highlights of his career to date have included senior leadership roles to successfully deliver large systems integration projects across many sectors including trustee services, insurance, banking and government. In 2013 he won CIO of the Year and in 2014, the Fellowship Award from the Leadership Development Centre. Prior to joining HealthCare NZ, Craig was appointed in 2009 as the inaugural Chief Information Officer at NZ Transport Agency.
