Biography
Chief Executive Officer Pru joined the organisation in 2002 with previous experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry after originally training as a registered nurse. Pru leads a team of 23, providing services in blood cancer and related blood conditions. Although passionate about all aspects of the role there is one area that is particularly dear to her heart and that is in the area of patient advocacy. Pru is committed to working collaboratively across the not-for-profit sector, and holds leadership roles across the sector including chair of the (international) Lymphoma Coalition, chair of Auckland Regional Tissue Bank, member and recent chair of CANGO, (New Zealand Cancer NGOs).
