Jay Whitehead Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce at Lincoln University. Member of International Farm Management Association.

Research Interest

Over 30 research projects as both PI and CI. The projects have broadly covered (i) analysis of sustainable farming systems, (ii) ecosystem services, soil, water and biodiversity linked to pollination and pest regulation, (iii) soil and water management, (iv) environmental benchmarking, (v) farmer motivations, CPD, and the role of demonstration farms, (vi) animal health, disease risk management, (vii) food hygiene, and (viii) urban agriculture and local food. The work has been undertaken for the EU, UK Research Councils, UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, UK Food Standards Agency, Royal Agricultural Society of England, and the Oxford Farming Conference.
