Biography
Kiri Hurunui has been seconded from Agribusiness & Commerce where she has worked for the last 8 years. Her role as Kairangahau MÄori will provide efficient administrative and research support to the MÄori researchers in the MÄori Bioprotection programme. She will work with MÄori communities, specifically kaumatua, to ensure they are treated in a manner consistent with tikanga MÄori. The position aims to contribute to the building and sustaining of the MÄori bioprotection research team as a critically competent kaupapa MÄori research and development unit.
