Biography

 The Malaghan Institute of Medical Research is New Zealand’s leading independent biomedical research institute, contributing new scientific discoveries and innovative research into a whole range of human diseases. We believe the key to fighting diseases lies in harnessing the immune system, the body’s own natural defence. We have significant expertise in pioneering research programmes focused on immunology, immunotherapy and cell biology to seek better treatments and cures for diseases affecting people worldwide.
