Biography

Dr. Anthony Parsons is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Grassland Science, Massey univesity , Newzealand. His research interests includes C and N cycling and sequestration in pastoral ecosystems. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Anthony Parsons is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He has authored of many research articles/books related to C and N cycling and sequestration in pastoral ecosystems.

Research Interest

C and N cycling and sequestration in pastoral ecosystems; Risks and Opportunities of new organism / traits – impacts and assessment; Assessment, development and mechanism of High Sugar Grass, and of altered plant growth strategy (eg trait for increased growth at low nitrogen through DELLA/GA interacton).Grass/endophyte association; Plant/soil/animal interactions and complex dynamics, Optimal foraging and stability; Intake behaviour, preference, diet selection; Origin and consequences of heterogeneity.
