Biography
Dr Barry Palmer is currently working as Senior Lecturer in Life Sciences in School of Health Sciences, Massey University, New Zealand. He is representative of School of Food & Nutrition Wellington Health & Safety , College of Health Representative on the Wellington Regional Health & Safety Management Committee
Research Interest
His research interests are focussed on genetics and gene variation in an effort to bring the enormous power of genetic analysis to bear on real-world problems. The contrast of the relative simplicity of plasmid and bacterial genomes with the complexity of the genetics of heart disease allows broad scope for new and exciting research projects.
