Biography
Dr. Sam McColl is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physical Geography, Massey univesity , Newzealand. His research interests includes Landslides, Quaternary Landscapes. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Sam McColl is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He has authored of many research articles/books related to Landslides, Quaternary Landscapes.
Research Interest
His research interests are focussed around two main themes: Landslides: He study slope failure mechanisms, causes and triggers, their geomorphic signature and impacts, and slope hazards. He apply a variety of traditional and novel techniques for monitoring and dating landslides. Quaternary Landscapes: He study the influence of glacial cycles on slope instability, crustal deformations, and sediment flux.
