Biography
Dr. Murray Cox is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Computational Biology, Massey univesity , Newzealand. His research interests includes modeling genome dynamics — firstly, establishing how genetic variation is distributed within and between individuals, and secondly, determining how this diversity changes over evolutionary time. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Murray Cox is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He has authored of many research articles/books related to modeling genome dynamics — firstly, establishing how genetic variation is distributed within and between individuals, and secondly, determining how this diversity changes over evolutionary time..
Research Interest
He is interested in the interface between biology, statistics and computer science, especially where large genetic datasets can be applied to address questions of outstanding biological importance.
