Biography

I have been a teacher since 1985. After 18 years working as a secondary mathematics teacher and senior instructor at an outdoor centre I moved to Massey at the start of 2003. My main area of teaching is in assessment at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. I also teach a mixed methods research course and co-teach the professional inquiry course in the Masters of Education qualification. My current research projects are primarily mixed methods projects investigating a number of initiatives in primary and secondary schools. I am also interested in research into policy development and its impact. I have been a teacher since 1985.
