Biography
Arlete da Silva is the interim leader for Digital & Information Technology within Life Science at Merck. In this role, she sits on the Life Science Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for strategic and operations for Digital & IT. Most recently, Arlete was Senior IT Director for Life Science where she was responsible for the Program Integration Office of the life science SAP project, as well as the ERP components for finance and controlling and plan to shelf. Arlete joined the Company in 2012 as Regional Finance Director, Latin America for Sigma-Aldrich. Prior to joining Merck, Arlete worked at Invensys System Inc., a multinational engineering and information technology company, in various senior roles across finance and IT in the U.S. and Brazil. Arlete holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Brazil; a Bachelor of Laws from FMU São Paulo University, Brazil; and an Accounting degree from Colégio Paralelo, Brazil.
