Biography
Sarah Holmes-Hackerd is Head of Human Resources as a Business Partner. Holmes-Hackerd was Director and Head of Human Resources Business Partners at Merck's Consumer Health (CH) division, where she oversaw the Human Resources initiatives within the CH organization including performance, compensation, talent and succession planning activities. She partnered with all parts of the Human Resources organization to ensure delivery of a people platform that drives business success. Prior to joining the CH team, Holmes-Hackerd worked for Merck Serono as Head of Human Resources Business Partners for R&D, GS&F, Business Development and Patents. Prior to joining the company, Holmes-Hackerd worked for Pfizer Inc. for sixteen years in various Human Resources roles including manufacturing, commercial and R&D, and for Ford Motor Company. Holmes-Hackerd received a Bachelor degree in Economics Management and Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Human Resources from the University of Connecticut.
