Mike Ironside -

Biography

Dr Mike Ironside joined NZP in April 2017 in the role of Chief Strategic Officer. He is responsible for planning, leading and executing the company’s strategic growth objectives on a global scale, ensuring the effective delivery of the commercialisation of our major projects into sustainable ongoing business. Mike will also focus on supporting our commercial, contractual and market development functions for our current priority products, and ongoing bile acid research and development programmes. Mike holds a BSc in Organic Chemistry and a PhD in Synthetic Chemistry. He has 20+ years of experience in a range of senior CMC and commercial leadership roles within the global pharmaceutical industry, helping advance novel pharmaceutical candidates along the development spectrum from pre-clinical evaluation towards commercialisation.
