Janet Titchener

Biography

I am a Graduate of the University of Otago (Dip PE), Universtiy of Connecticut (MA, Psychology); Thomas Jefferson University (MA, Physiotherapy) and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (MD). Convinced that successful medical care can only be achieved if diseases are managed within the context of the patient, I chose to train as a Family Practice Physician (Lancaster General Hospital, USA). During my residency and fellowship I subspecialised in diabetology and am currently Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management. Having trained as a Family Practice Physician I have the unique ability to care for all types of diabetes across all age groups - and provide care in both the community setting and hospital setting.
