Biography
As Associate Professor for Entrepreneurship and Strategy for more than 15 years at the Waikato University Management School he works with MBA participants there, and has taught in Australia, Singapore, Germany, the Philippines, Cambodia and the USA with an emphasis on corporate performance strategies. Professor Mueller is a frequent author of academic articles, conference speaker, editor of several international refereed journals and co-editor/co-author of several books, including a best-selling book on Governance. In New Zealand, Professor Mueller assists the Ministry of Health and the Minister with governance opportunities at District Health Boards and works with many companies and non-profit organisations to help create sustainable strategies based on strong governance structures. Professor Mueller holds a Doctorate in Governance (PhD, Canterbury), a Doctorate in Law (JurDr, California), a Masters in Law (LLM, California), an MBA (MBA, Illinois) and a Masters in Advanced Management (MSAM, California). Jens was appointed to the Board effective 1 July 2010. His term was extended for 3 years from 21 September 2016.
