Biography
She has worked primarily with organisations advancing MÄori and Iwi, and with various public sector and private organisations, focusing on policy and commercial development. A chartered member of the Institute of Directors (CMInstD), Nicole has been a member of various public and private sector governance bodies, including a member of the AUT University Council and Chair of the Council’s Maori Education Working Group, a Trustee of Hauora Hokianga Enterprise Trust, which governs the Rawene Hospital and associated health services, the Auckland Human Health & Disability Ethics Committee (Chair), the NRC Environment Committee and Northland Conservation Board. Apart from her involvement in various whÄnau, hapÅ«, Iwi and MÄori organisations, she was the previous interim Project Manager for TÅ«horonuku Independent Mandated Authority, the NgÄpuhi settlement entity. Ko NgÄpuhi tÅna iwi, nÅ Hokianga ia. Ka noho ia ki Kerikeri ki te taha o tÅna whÄnau. Nicole joined the PHARMAC Board in June 2014, and was reappointed for another 3 year term effective 13 June 2017.
