Michelle Garrett

Biography

Michelle completed her Bachelor’s Degree in 2010 at Auckland University of Technology. She has worked in a musculoskeletal clinic since then, gaining experience with a wide range of patients and techniques.  She is currently completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Auckland University of Technology to further her expertise in musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment.  She also practices dry needling and myofascial release as an adjunct to her physiotherapy treatment.  Michelle enjoys working with a variety of patients and pathologies. She likes to take a holistic approach to assessment and treatment to view the body as a whole.  Particular interests of hers are the lower limb and functional movement patterns. She has a passion for adventure sports such as snowboarding, mountain biking and wakeboarding. She also enjoys road cycling and indoor football.
