Biography
Gabriel enjoys physical fitness and an active lifestyle, a change which has lead to a large weight transformation in his teens. That change he attributes to self-control and leading a more active lifestyle. Through his changes, he has been through and experienced injuries sustained from inactivity, to the extreme levels of various sporting activities. He therefore developed an interest in injury management and prevention, leading to him undertaking his tertiary studies in Physiotherapy. His sporting interests include functional training at Ludus Magnus gym, Crossfit, rugby, badminton, Aikido, snowboarding and many more. Gabriel graduated from the Auckland University of Technology in 2009 with a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Physiotherapy. Since then, he has attained postgraduate qualifications in Western Acupuncture, as well as Postgraduate Certification in Sports Medicine from the University of Auckland. He has worked with premier grade sports teams such as Eden Rugby and Marist Rugby League. Gabriel believes that high level evidence-based physiotherapy should be accessible to everyone. Therefore, in 2011, he started Physio-Logic with this simple goal in mind.
