Biography
Originally from Cornwall in the UK, Sophie qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2012 having gained her BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Cardiff. Since qualifying she has spent 5 years working within the NHS in Wales and England specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy but also gaining valuable experience on a variety of rotations including neurology, rheumatology and community rehabilitation. Sophie has experience treating a variety of conditions and has spent time working with specialists in pain management and shoulder rehabilitation. Outside of work Sophie enjoys being outdoors and keeping active. Her biggest passion is her animals and her goal is to train as a veterinary physiotherapist to enable her to work with both people and animals. Sophie is excited to join the team at Physio Direct and explore New Zealand.
