Dr Mary Irvine

Biography

  Dr Mary Irvine is a fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners. Mary has worked with with Jesse on Friday afternoons in Merivale since 2011. Mary also works 3 days week as a GP in Merivale.     Mary's philosophy is to utilise the latest techniques and products in an organic way to achieve subtle, natural and beautiful enhancements. Mary is very aware of not "overdoing" and maintaining a natural look in her patients. To avoid using too much of a product, Mary will often use two appointments with her patients to get a final result.  She will use a little bit of a product during a patient's first appointment and then top it up at a second appointment.   Mary completed her medical training, along with an additional honors degree in physiology, at the University of Edinburgh. Mary graduated from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland in 1999.   Mary immigrated to New Zealand with her Kiwi husband in 2002, she first worked in Christchurch Hospital and then became a local GP. She passed her RNZCGP examinations 2005 and came first nationwide in the clinical examination.  Mary became a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners in 2012.   In her spare time: Mary enjoys being with her 3 young daughters, adores tramping, camping and exploring all the wonderful places New Zealand has to offer!
