Glenn Sharratt

Biography

Mr Sharratt is responsible for safely, delivering Powerco’s annual electrical works plan and the operations of the network. His team manages an extensive range of service providers, including electrical contracting, vegetation, design and delivery.  Before joining Powerco in 2014 he ran his own consultancy business for over ten years as a project director and advisor on major electricity projects. Particularly those in their conceptual stages needing complex stakeholder negotiations in the development phases. Prior to that he has managed a large private engineering organisation. Mr Sharratt has over 30 years of experience in the NZ electricity supply industry in engineering, project management, sales and marketing. Mr Sharratt has a degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and has undertaken post graduate studies in finance at Massey University and extensive management training.
