Biography
Dr Adam Durning graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1990. A year later he moved to Wanganui having bought into a group practice. He is now Co-Director of The dentists dental group. He is a life member of the World Congress of Micro Dentistry and after passing their exams was accepted as a Diplomat. In 2001 he was elected as a Board Member of World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, today he is their Treasurer. After much learning and travel overseas he developed the training program for new laser users within New Zealand and Australia of which he is the Clinical Trainer. In November 2002, due to the increasing number of Laser users in New Zealand, he felt there was a need for a formal structure and organisation and consequently founded the New Zealand Institute of Laser Dentistry of which he is the President. This year he was elected as Vice President of the Australasian branch of the World Clinical Laser Institute.
