Biography
Associate Professor Leo Cheng is a Principal Investigator at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland where he leads the Gastrointestinal Motility Research Group. He has active collaborations with a number of universities and hospitals in the US, Germany and Singapore and is also a Research Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. Research Interest
Leo's main research interests are in measuring and characterising the electrophysiological events (also known as slow waves) that occur within the gastrointestinal tract and understanding their influence on motility patterns and ingested digesta.
