Biography
Lauren is a graduate of the Auckland University of Technology where she gained a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy). Lauren originally practiced private musculoskeletal physiotherapy where she had particular interests in post-operative return to sport rehabilitation. Lauren has also specialised chronic pain management and graded return to work programs through gym and pool based rehabilitation. Recently she has also developed skills in the treatment of concussion and traumatic brain injuries. Lauren has passed competencies in LSVT BIG and works with the Parkinson's population seeing dramatic effects in mobility and function. Lauren also has a particular interest in mat and reformer based Pilates. Her classes focus on applying the basic Pilates principals and can be tailored for a range of neurological conditions.
