Biography
Sarah graduated from the University of Southampton in 2009. She worked in a large Central London hospital completing her core rotations and specialising in Neuro Physiotherapy before moving to New Zealand in 2013. Sarah has had diverse experience within stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, long term neurological conditions and vestibular rehabilitation both in the UK and in New Zealand. She has gained a comprehensive knowledge of ACC and has provided Training for Independence Programmes for a wide diversity of clients, including many serious injury clients. Sarah is a certified LSVT BIG practitioner and works with the Parkinson's population seeing dramatic effects in mobility and function. She is also a qualified Nordic Walking instructor and has completed multiple courses in Vestibular Rehabilitation. Sarah has also completed her training on provision and fitting of the Bioness Foot Drop system. Sarah focuses on the importance of building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients in order to achieve meaningful and person specific goals.
