Biography
My role involves disease management and control, especially parasite monitoring. That starts off from the moment we get baby fish on to the farm or even before that - I'll make sure they're properly checked out, whether I do it myself and we get the Government vet to do a check on them too. I monitor the fish right through until harvest. I'll do gill snips and skin scrapes. If anything shows up we'll respond to it quickly with the help of our vet.
