Biography
Ear surgery is my primary area of surgical interest. I have long experience managing both children and adults with otitis media, in particular perforated tympanic membrane and cholesteatoma. I perform the majority of exostosis surgery and stapendectomy for Otago and Southland. In relation to endoscopic sinus surgery for Rhinosinusitis, I have been the organizer and convener of the Dunedin Sinus Surgery course for registrar training. In pursuing a special interest in adenotonsillar disease, I have a strong research interest in childhood sleep disturbed breathing (snoring and sleep apnoea), its effects, diagnosis and management.
