Biography
I am a Fellow of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. I trained in Wellington and have worked in Wellington for many years. I have recently spent a year in Australia. I believe that doctor-patient communication is the first step to good health. I spend time with patients to individualise their care plan. I combine excellent surgical training and cutting edge technology to optimise patient outcomes. My focus is a very well-informed patient, comprehensive care and treatment tailored to the patient. Post-operative patients, during recovery, have ready access to the team 24 hours a day. Current membership of professional/other bodies UroGynaecological Society of Australasia (UGSA) International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) International Continence Society (ICS)
Research Interest

I have a wide experience in management of both primary and recurrent vaginal prolapse. Most of my surgery is laparoscopic where indicated to facilitate speedy recovery and for long term gains. I see patients with: - Uterovaginal Prolapse - Urinary Incontinence - Endometriosis & Pelvic pain - Menstrual Disorders - Fibroids - Pelvic masses/Ovarian Cysts - Abnormal Smears/ Colposcopy - Postmenopausal bleeding - Vulval disorders
