Biography
Mr Ali Bayan trained in orthopaedic surgery in Auckland and was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2005. He undertook further subspecialty training in joint reconstruction surgery at Stanmore National Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, London in the United Kingdom. In addition, Mr Bayan undertook a Knee Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries Fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. Mr Bayan is currently a consultant at Waitemata District Health Board at North Shore Hospital and Waitakere Hospital, and his private practice is based at Southern Cross Hospital - North Harbour, for both consultation and surgery. Mr Bayan''s practice includes computer-navigated joint replacement of knee joints, hip replacement and resurfacing, knee ligament and cartilage open and arthroscopic surgery, and foot and ankle surgery.
