Biography
Martin Rees is a Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon who has been in private practice since 1988, founding the Auckland Plastic Surgical Centre in 1996. His areas of expertise encompass cosmetic facial, abdominal and breast surgeries, liposculpture, skin cancer, cleft lip and palate, cranio maxillo facial, microvascular and hand surgery. Post Fellowship Training 1980-81-82. Australasian Fellow at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol England. Cleft lip and palate, Head & Neck cancer, Burns, Micro-vascular surgery. 1983 Micro-vascular Research Fellow, Royal Melbourne Hospital. 1984 Craniofacial Fellow, Royal Adelaide Hospital. 1985 Tutor Specialist Plastic Surgery Unit Middlemore Hospital 1986-7 Full-time specialist Plastic surgeon, Middlemore Hospital. 1988 to 2008 Part-time Visiting Consultant Plastic surgeon, MMH, Kidz First, Starship and Auckland City Hospitals. Currently Full-time Private Practice at Auckland Plastic Surgical Centre, One Health Building, 122 Remuera Road, Remuera.
